Pricing at MIQALab
At MIQALab, we believe that transparent pricing is an essential part of transparent microplastic analysis. Since no two samples are identical, the analytical effort depends primarily on the complexity of the sample matrix and the required preparation steps rather than on the measurement itself. For this reason, we have developed a modular pricing concept that reflects the actual laboratory work required for each project.
Our pricing structure begins with a base analysis, which includes sample handling, spectroscopic measurement, (semi-) automated data evaluation, manual quality control, and the final analytical report. Depending on the sample type, additional preparation modules—such as chemical or enzymatic digestion, density separation, solvent-based preparation, or other matrix-specific purification steps—nned to be added as required. This approach ensures that customers only pay for the services that are genuinely necessary for their sample.
Further factors, including the selected particle size cut-off (10 µm or 20 µm), sample quantity, and the overall complexity of the preparation, may also influence the analytical effort. Smaller particle size cut-offs require substantially longer measurement times and data evaluation due to the significantly higher number of detectable particles.
