Our Basic tablet contains fragments of two polymer types with different densities—one with a higher density and one with a lower density than water. This parameter plays a crucial role in recovery determination and allows you to test different analytical scenarios. The tablets are available in several size fractions (20–25 µm, 25–50 µm, 50–100 µm, and 100–200 µm) and in multiple polymer combinations. Available polymers include high-density types (PS, PVC, PET) as well as lower-density polymers (PE, PP).

The use of the Basic Kit has been designed to be as user-friendly as possible. Each tablet is supplied with detailed information on the particle count, which is provided on the label of the packaging. The tablet can simply be dissolved in filtered water, allowing the analytical workflow to be performed directly and the recovery to be evaluated. This provides an efficient and cost-effective solution for your analyses.
In this kit, each tablet contains approximately 50–150 particles (the distribution among polymer types is random). Since particle losses can occur during sample preparation, the particle number has been optimized to ensure a clear separation of particles within the tablet. At the same time, the particle count is sufficiently high to ensure that minor particle losses do not significantly influence the recovery results. The exact particle number is provided for each individual tablet to ensure maximum transparency and traceability.
