PlastiTrax® Simulated Aging tablets contain UV-aged polymers (PE, PP, PS, PET, PVC) that mimic environmentally weathered microplastics. They are designed for spectral database expansion and for testing analytical methods under realistic aging conditions. As environmental samples often contain degraded polymers with altered spectra, these tablets are ideal for improving and optimizing polymer identification and method robustness in microplastic analysis.

 

  • Included Polymers: PE, PP, PS, PVC, PET (UV-aged; Spectral changes are individual and different in intensity for each polymer)

    Particle Count: 50-150 (Exact particle number is found on the label (packaging) of each tablet)
