ISO 16094-2:2025 Kit
The PlastiTrax® ISO 16094-2:2025 Kit is specifically designed to support the validation of recovery rates as required by ISO 16094-2:2025 for microplastic analysis. The guideline mandates the quantitative assessment of recovery across the entire analytical workflow, including sample preparation, transfer, filtration, and spectroscopic identification.
The kit contains tablets with defined polymer compositions, size fractions, and precisely determined particle numbers, enabling laboratories to systematically evaluate recovery performance under controlled conditions. By covering different particle sizes and concentration ranges, it supports the determination of method performance characteristics and ensures standard-compliant, reproducible, and comparable results.

Polymer Distribution: random; we guarantee the presence of each of the listed polymers (depending on tablet).
Exact particle number: is found on the label (packaging) of each tablet;
Individual Certificates of Analysis (COA) for the tablets can be provided for each order
Used Potassium bromide (KBr) as matrix substance is heated above 600°C for at least 48h to avoid any possible contamination (including microplastics).
If contaminations are found, these will be specifically noted on the label of each tablet.
