ISO 16094-2:2025 Extended Kit
The PlastiTrax® ISO 16094-2:2025 Extended Kit expands upon the standard recovery kit and is designed for a comprehensive, standard-compliant validation according to ISO 16094-2:2025. In addition to recovery assessment, the guideline requires the validation of polymer identification and the definition of suitable HQI thresholds for automated data evaluation.
The kit therefore includes a Priority Complete set with all 10 priority polymers, enabling the determination and validation of the Hit Quality Index (HQI) under realistic multi-polymer conditions. It also contains Simulated Aging tablets with UV-aged polymers, allowing the evaluation of identification performance for environmentally weathered materials, as required for robust and reliable classification.
Together, the kit supports laboratories in validating the entire analytical workflow, ensuring reproducible, comparable, and ISO-compliant microplastic analysis.

Polymer Distribution: random; we guarantee the presence of each of the listed polymers (depending on tablet).
Exact particle number: is found on the label (packaging) of each tablet;
Individual Certificates of Analysis (COA) for the tablets can be provided for each order
Used Potassium bromide (KBr) as matrix substance is heated above 600°C for at least 48h to avoid any possible contamination (including microplastics).
If contaminations are found, these will be specifically noted on the label of each tablet.
